Split Class Rogues The Split Class Rogue is an option for human PCs who wish to combine the Rogue's abilities with those of another class, but without having to multi-class. The character starts out as a 1st level Rogue, then can choose either Rogue features or the features of their other class at the next level. Split Class Rogues are more limited in their selection of class skills than normal Rogues. The other major disadvantage is that they cannot multi-class. Example Split Class Characters
Restrictions Alignment: Split Class Rogues must follow the alignment restrictions of their other class. So a Rogue Paladin must be Lawful Good and a Rogue Druid must be neutral in some way. Races: Only humans may become Split Class Rogues. Hit Dice: Split Class Rogues use a d6 for their hit dice. Class Skills: The Split Class Rogue's class skills are the skills shared by both their Rogue class and their other class. Classes possessed by one but not the other are cross-class skills. Split Class Rogues possess a single-class Rogue's starting skill points. Additional skill points are gained at a rate of 8+Int modifier per additional level. Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Split Class Rogues are proficient in all the Rogue's weapons and light armor. Class Features: Every time the Split Class Rogue gains a level, he may select either the Base Attack Bonus, Saves and Special of a Rogue or that of his other class. Note that if that level has a lower Base Attack Bonus or Save, the Split Class Rogue's rating doesn't change. It only changes when there is an increase. Example: a 7th level Split Class Rogue Paladin
Example 2: a 4th level Splot Class Rogue Sorcerer
