Morran Blackblood
Human bard/cleric
of Erythnul
Morran was yet another
bored young man in the village where he grew up. He worked
in his father's shop during the day and would go out at
night with his crew and haunt the local taverns and
back-alleys. He's a thin and pale young man with devilish
blue eyes and jet black hair that hangs past his shoulders.
Morran is very clever
(maybe too clever for his own good) and quite dashing, in
his own sinister-yet-alluring way. He loves playing to an
audience and will play at a moment's notice - most often
when bored or vexed by some setback. He rarely confronts
people head on, preferring his lackeys to do his dirty work
for him.
Here are three different
versions of Morran to use in your own campaign. One as a
young and up-and-coming musician, then as a musical
superstar and lastly as a cult leader and a follower of dark
gods.
Morran is the eldest son
of a shoemaker in his village but has no plans to follow in
his father's footsteps. He would much rather stay out all
night with his friends, playing music, drinking and
carousing with the lovelies. Here he is as a struggling,
albeit talented young bard.

After a time, Morran began
to attract quite a following. He was able to buy a vintage
violin from a collector in the City and has even played at
the more upscale locales there. He's travelled a bit and has
been dabbling in the occult, hungry for power and knowledge.
Morran has given himself the ominous surname "Blackblood"
and he tours with a troupe of musicians under the banner of
his new identity.

At this point, Morran is a
huge influence over the youth of several towns and cities.
They regularly attend his shows and naturally, the elders
are quite unhappy about this - going so far as banning his
concerts and setting up curfews. Still, Morran's followers
have organized themselves into a gang of sorts (all dressed
in shiny black leather studded with sharp steel spiked) and
have dubbed themselves "The Blackblood Tears." Morran
himself has now jumped headfirst into the worship of demons
and evil gods and has begun training as a cleric of
Erythnul, the God of Slaughter.
